2024 Opening Ceremonies

Opening Day is this Saturday 4/6 from 10am to about noon at Parker field #1 (8301 SE 72nd Ave Portland OR 97206).

We will be handing out uniforms. Please have your players wear pants, as we will have them slip on their jerseys over their shirts, and put their hats on before we call each team out on the field; for introductions and a group photo with all the teams together.

When you arrive please find your Coaches who will be standing along the fence outside of Parker #1. If you have not yet made it to a practice and met your coaches by Saturday you can find them by the signs posted along the fence with each team's name or ask a volunteer for help.Your team's coaches will give your player their uniforms and then they will line up with their team until it is time to go out on the field. If you arrive late your player may not have time to prepare to join their team on the field and you will need to meet your Team manager after the announcements and photo to pick up your players jersey and hat.

You can leave your player with their team, unless they need extra supervision, and then go ahead and sit on the bleachers during the announcements. Once they leave the field please meet your coaches to get your player.

We will have socks and belts available in each team's colors for sale in the Snack Shack, the bundle is $15 and we will accept payment via cash or card. You do not have to buy these from us and are welcome to purchase them anywhere as long as they are your team colors. We will have them for sale until they are sold out so you can also purchase them from us later.

We will have a donation table set up with donated cleats, pants, bags, etcetera. If anyone is in need or if you would like to make a donation please check it out.

There are no games on opening day. Games will begin next week and schedules are being posted as quickly as we receive them. We will also be scrambling to find volunteer Umpires and snack shack workers for our games, if you have not yet filled out a volunteer application please do so as soon as possible so we can send you a background check. If you have already signed up to volunteer please keep an eye out for a sign up sheet which we will make and send out as soon as we have our home game schedule.

Everyone should have received their team roster, a GameChanger invitation to join their team's GameChanger App, and a practice schedule. Please check your emails and reach out if you have not received these.

Please remember (and let your guests know this season) that our fields are Private property and Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
